Based on the 1902 novel by Owen Wister the series revolved around the foreman of the Shiloh Ranch a tough man known only as "The Virginian." The series was renamed "The Men from Shiloh" in the final ninth season and the series was redesigned in a "Spaghetti Western" style with a new theme song by Ennio Morricone. <br /> <br /> In this installment The Virginian is stranded on a stagecoach with an old girlfriend who is being pursued by mysterious attackers. The episode originally aired on September 30 1970 on NBC.<br /> <br /> Set in Medicine Bow Wyoming. <br /> <br /> Self wrappers.
