Comb-bound report 11" x 8.5" pp. 4 iii 1 317 page 129 skipped; typescript text and tables pictorial paper covers; ex-library with stamp on cover else fine. "The objective of Contract 81-2 . was to 'enhance the capabilities of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and the Commercial Fisheries Entry Commission to provide to the NPFMC within the constraints of the applicable state confidentiality laws various types of harvester and processor data for 1977-1979 collected and managed by the State of Alaska.' CFEC was assigned two tasks. Task A was to extend a tabular time series on 'Units of Gear Fished by Fishery and Residence of Operator'. Task B was to construct a computer file from vessel licensing and gross earnings files which would be amenable to research on the composition of sundry Alaskan fishing fleets with respect to vessel characteristics and interfishery patterns of diversification. This report provides information on how each task was accomplished and contains summary data relevant to each task. Alaska Commercial Fisheries Entry Commission unknown
