A community cookbook with recipes attributed from the airmen and airmen's spouses living at Patrick Air Force. Patrick AFB is a significant location in the history of the American space program and 1963 just two years after the first manned space flight Gagarin and the first human-piloted space flight Shephard. Patrick Air Force base is now Space Launch 45 "the premier launch delta of the United States Space Force." Thor and Atlas Missiles as well as the Titan Booster were the stock in trade of PAFB from the time of this cookbook through the 1980s. The illustration of a space capsule on the front wrapper panel is of a Mercury capsule the capsule that carried John Glenn on the first American orbital flight in 1962. A bit of light soiling otherwise fine in publisher's gray card stock titled and illustrated in black. Unrecorded. OCLC locates no copies; no other references found online or otherwise. unknown

"The entire tract is divided into 3395 farms and 3395 town lots - and sold a farm and a lot together for $210.00 - payable ten dollars each month. The farms range in size from a 400 acre general farm to a 10 acre fruit farm and truck farm."<br /> <br /> According to an article in the November 2021 issue of Between the Lines the official newsletter of the Charlotte County Libraries and History "John Milton Murdock's Colony Farms failed after the first rainy season brought extensive flooding that destroyed crops. Attempts to create a canal system to prevent flooding and provide irrigation during the dry season proved unsuccessful and Murdock ultimately fled the area after only a few years."<br /> <br /> Booklet: 32 pp. including the wrappers 3 1/4" x 6" with a map on the rear panel. She worked on the Russian front as a Red Cross nurse. From Wikipedia: Pier Scott-Maxwell 14 September 1883-6 March 1979 was a playwright author and psychologist. Florida Pier was born in Orange Park Florida and educated at home until the age of ten. She grew up in Pittsburgh then moved to New York at age 15 to become an actress. In 1910 she married John Scott Maxwell and moved to her husband's native Scotland where she worked for women's suffrage and as a playwright. The couple divorced in 1929 and she moved to London. In 1933 she studied Jungian psychology under Carl Jung and practised as an analytical psychologist in both England and Scotland. She died in Exeter England.
