Titel auf dem Umschlag "Project von Tramlinien in Zürich und Ausgemeinden", abgebildet ist ein dreiachsiger Motorenwagen (für Dampfbetrieb), beschriftet mit Paradeplatz-Römerplatz. Der Stadtplan (Massstab 1:10000) ist mehrfarbig lithographiert und reicht im Norden bis zum Friedhof Aussersihl und im Süden knapp über Burgwies hinaus. In den Plan sind, neben den Strassen sowie gebauten und geplanten Eisenbahnlinien auch zahlreiche Firmen und Institutionen eingezeichnet. Nicht bei Hauri (Hofer & Burger). Interessante e assai rara edizione originale di quest'opera sull'introduzione dei tram. L'A. muove inizialmente da una questione linguistica definendo la parola italiana 'tramvia' un aborto linguistico, la parola tramvai un idiotismo, la parola tram incompleta, la parola ippoferrovia un anacronismo. Sostiene quindi che il termine inglese 'tramway', utilizzato anche in Belgio e in Francia, sia preferibile non pregiudicando la purezza e nazionalita' della lingua. Seguono quindi capitoli sulle norme giuridiche relative all'introduzione dei tram in Italia e una parte finale sulla loro introduzione nella provincia di Firenze.
