Pages are clean and unmarked although several are dog-eared at one corner. This is the master plan to restore Garretson Forge and Farm one of the oldest sites in Bergen County New Jersey. The house is pre-revolutionary war sandstone and is officially listed on the New Jersey State and United States National Register of Historic Places. Representative of an early Dutch colonial home and farmstead it is the only site of its kind in Bergen County and almost unique in all of New Jersey. This master plan appears to have been produced by mimeo-graph -- probably in just a small number of copies. The plan has sections on the site's background its history architectural description programs past and present archeology structural repairs interior restoration exterior restoration outbuildings cost estimates etc. It is illustrated with a 19th century photo of the building plus cover art by Bartley Sisenbrey and 9 architectural drawings / floor plans of the existing site cellar first floor second floor and post-restoration projected views of the site cellar first floor north and south elevations east and west elevations.
