A beautiful edition with 16 full-page etchings by Maurice Leroy, printed in color. From a total edition of 300 numbered copies, this is one of 218 printed on fine Lana wove paper. Leroy is one of the most underestimated book illustrators of this century, and his etchings in this book are lightly erotic. 4to, loose as issued in wrappers, board folder, and slipcase. br. Nel 1939, in visita presso gli archivi di Lovanio, Merleau-Ponty legge per la prima volta il manoscritto husserliano sul "Rovesciamento della dottrina copernicana". È un incontro importante, che contribuisce in modo decisivo a fondare la cosmologia merleau-pontyana. Dalla rivoluzione scientifica ai viaggi spaziali, il nostro ancoraggio alla Terra - questo grande inaggirabile che si corrisponde con il corpo vivo - si è indebolito, facendosi più mediato. Che ne è, allora, del gioco che coinvolge il soggetto e il mondo? È possibile pensare la Terra come un oggetto? È necessario rinunciare a parlare di soggettività, come ha auspicato la generazione post-strutturalista? This is a sale catalog for an auction held at Aguttes in Paris at the Hotel Drouot on March 9, 2005. This sale consisted of the estate of Georges Manzana-Pissarro (1871-1961), the son of Camille Pissarro. 110 lots in this part of the sale. Manzana-Pissarro is best known today as an Orientalist painter, and most of the paintings and objects offered here are in this genre. The second part of the sale 'Collection de Monsieur V. ensemble de 33 oeuvres provenant de l'atelier de Pierre Grisot', contained 33 paintings by Pierre Grisot (1910-1995) a school of Paris type painter. The third section of the sale, 'Collection de Monsieur D. ensemble de 31 oeuvres provenant de l'atelier de Maurice Busset', had 31 paintings by another school of Paris painter Maurice Busset (1879-1936). The final section of the sale contained Orientalist and other modernist 19th century paintings. 298 lots in the sale. All illustrated in color. No prices realized sheets, just price estimates for each lot. 11" high X 8" wide, 89 pages.
