Xenophon's account of the life of Cyrus was written as a fictional biography titled '<em>Cyropedia'</em> written in the 4th-century BC to describe what the perfect ruler should be as well as portraying the way that the general public blindly follows its leader. This book is the earliest known accounts of the Achaemenid Empire and portions of the Persian Empire in Iran. </p><p>This 1785 Greek and Latin edition was published in Cambridge by Archdeacon collected and translated by Thomas Hutchinson.
