Nonostante manchi metà del dorso (incollato) e il volume presenti inevitabili segni del tempo, il piatto anteriore risulta interamente conservato, l'interno fresco e pienamente fruibile -- Questo introvabile libro reportage raccoglie gli articoli scritti da Montanelli durante i mesi passati in Albania dal novembre del 1938 al marzo 1939. Dall'Albania Montanelli, d'accordo con Borelli, direttore del Corriere della Sera, inviò molti articoli di 'varietà' destinati alla terza pagina. Il libro è molto importante per una esatta ricostruzione dei rapporti tra Montanelli e il regime Fascista, ma soprattutto per mettere in evidenza le frequenti evasioni che Montanelli si concedeva con passione nel ruolo di eminenza grigia con ruoli politici e diplomatici (come accadde con l'ambasciatrice degli Usa Clara Booth Luce della quale fu ascoltato consigliere e in tante altre occasioni) -- Contattare la libreria per ulteriori informazioni
