Folio unpaged over 500 pages; contemporary blind-tooled reverse calf edged in gilt-ruled calf red and black gilt morocco spine labels "Military Abstract Act 1852" marbled endpapers; edges rubbed and worn small loss to spine head; interior about fine. Printed at head of each double-page: "Monthly Abstract of locations on Public Lands 'subject to private entry' made for the month ending blank at the Land Office at blank on Military Land Warrant Certificates issued pursuant to the Act of Con0gress entitled 'An act to make Land Warrants assignable and for other purposes' approved March 22 1852." All leaves blank save two frustratingly enough somewhere in the middle of the textblock with entries dated 1856 and 1859. <br/><br/> unknown books
