197796182January 1977. 1977. Very good. - A sheet approximately 11 inches high by 8-1/4 inches wide with photocopied portraits of Crown Heights Affair musicians mounted as a collage on the page. Dated "1/77" at the top of the sheet by the collector. Inscribed and signed in ink by group members William Anderson Muki Wilson Bert Reid and Phil Thomas. The left margin of the sheet is roughed where it has been removed from an album. Very good. <p>The four musicians who have inscribed this sheet were original 1970s members of Crown Heights Affair a Brooklyn disco and soul/funk group. Muki Wilson was a bassist/vovalist Bert Reid a saxophonist Phil Thomas a vocalist and William Anderson a guitarist/vocalist. The group's "Dreaming a Dream" reached number 5 on R & B charts. Other top 20 hits were "Every Beat of my Heart" "Foxy Lady" and "Dancin'".<p>The musicians' inscriptions read as follows: "To Bob / Peace and success / from Anderson / Crown Heights Affair"; "To Bob / from Muki / Bass player / C.H.A."; "To Bob / Best wishes / Love / Bert of C.H.A." and "To Bob / Best of everything / Phil Thomas". Many themes emerge some of which such as homosexuality were effectively removed from the film production which Williams disliked.
