Natchez evidently told this story to Glück who had Natchez in attendance while giving a poetry reading at Moe's Books Berkeley on 9 February 2012 and at her Stanford lectures. Natchez has published two poetry collections Jade Suit 2001 and Catwalk 2020. Glück's Pulitzer Prize-winning collection contains some of her best-known poems including "Snowdrops" "End of Winter" and "The Silver Lily". Octavo.
