Molte malattie, purtroppo assai diffuse, si risolvono solo con un tempestivo intervento del medico, del chirurgo, a cui non bisogna aver paura di rivolgersi con fiducia e con urgenza al primo sintomo di ogni male. Abbiamo infatti trattato solo le malattie in cui la fitoterapia si rivela veramente utile, sottolineando la necessità del controllo medico. D'altra parte, potremmo fare un lungo elenco di mali per cui i decotti e le tisane hanno una indiscussa efficacia pari a quella delle medicine in commercio, senza provocare gli effetti tossici secondari che spesso cachet, pillole lassative e farmaci calmanti producono nel nostro organismo.
