(ca. 22,5 x 15,6 cm). each around 60-70 p. Original boards (softcover) with illustrated title to front cover. (= El Cafe de El Salvador: Volumen VII, Numero 73, 74, 75, 76, 78, 79, 80, 82, 83, 84). Boards with some browning, small note at front cover. Paper inside with little browning but well preserved. Appropriate to its age still in good condition. The magazine for the business association of coffee producers, traders and exporters in El Salvador contains a lot of information, texts and statistics belonging to the topic. The periodical has been published in the period of the dictatorship of General Martinez (1930 - 1944) who had some good political relationship to fascist leaders in Europe of that time (Hitler, Franco, Mussolini). His economic policy also led to strongly increasing exports from El Salvador to the US under his leadership. The "Revista de la Asociación Cafetalera" reflects historical developments like these very well. The magazine's issues also contain a lot of contemporary advertising concerning coffee production and exports (machines, business travelling, financials) but also for selling other products from Europe or the US. Beside local companies from El Salvador like Meardi Hermanos (Coffee Exporters, San Salvador) we can find a lot of international companies working in/with El Salvador: german companies like Krupp, North German Lloyd Hamburg, Curt Laufer; companies from other european countries like the Societa Anonima Linificio (Milan, Italy) or the Royal Netherlands Steamship Company; companies from the US dealing/working in El Salvador like Goodyear, RCA etc. From the content of present issues: Alza de los Precios del Cafe Tostado en los Estados Unidos / Promotores de Cordialidad Interamericana: Dr. Alfonso Lopez.
