In seguito alle idee diffuse da Rousseau, in campo educativo, Amat e Jauffret con Tissot, Londe, Berard, Royer Collard, Clias furono coloro che maggiormente si applicacorono allo sviluppo e alla propagazione dell'educazione fisica cosi' come oggi e' concepita. Particolarmente interessanti le incisioni a corredo che raffigurano giovani nell'atto di giocare o svolgere sports come l'equitazione, la scherma, la discesa con le slitte, il volano, il tiro con l'arco oppure giochi come nascondino, la settimana ecc. L'autore in realta' non sarebbe Amar Durivier bensi' J. C. GuthMuths che pubblico' l'opera in tedesco nel 1793 con il titolo Gymnastyk for jugend. Egli, partendo dalle teorie di Basedow, attribuisce a queste una maggiore valenza pedagogica, partendo dal concetto che la ginnastica debba educare e coltivare tutte le disposizioni dell'uomo. Dalla comparsa di questo libro un gran numero di uomini di ogni paese si dedico' alla propagazione della ginnastica Amar e Jauffret furono solamente i traduttori. Cfr. Legatura in cartoncino rivestita di carta marmorizzata. Jean Antoine Nollet, conosciuto come l'abate Nollet (19 dicembre 1700 – 25 aprile 1770), è stato un fisico francese. Fu uno dei fisici sperimentali e dei dimostratori più abili del Settecento.Il suo contributo alla diffusione della fisica sperimentale fu notevolissimo e i suoi trattati godettero di enorme popolarità. Jean Antoine Nollet, known as Abbot Nollet (December 19, 1700 - April 25, 1770), was a French physicist. He was one of the most skilled experimental physicists and demonstrators of the eighteenth century.His contribution to the spread of experimental physics was enormous and his treatises enjoyed enormous popularity. His work in the field of electricity was also important. Perfect copy.
