Original blind-stamped cloth. Spine with gilt title. Both works are finely illustrated monographs on Palaeozoic invertebrate faunas in New York State, and both deal primarily with gastropods and bivalves of which many are new. The second paper is a continuation of a more general work on the Devonian Portage time. Boards a bit rubbed, front free endpaper and first blank detached, stamp on front free endpaper, otherwise good with fine clean plates and a spotless map.
