Overall a good copy. First edition of this late Soviet atlas offering a comprehensive touristic resorts and resources overview of Georgia. This atlas includes detailed cartographic and statistical data along with huge colour maps. Following the preface and introduction the atlas provides an overview of Soviet Georgia focusing on its resort and climatic resources. These include data on solar radiation cloud cover air temperature variations summer and winter wind patterns atmospheric pressure and bioclimatic zones. The next chapter titled "Hydromineral Resources" explores mineral waters and medicinal muds and includes a list of mineral water springs. Other chapters cover topics such as "Resorts and Resort Localities" "Tourism and Recreation" and "Prospects for the Development of Resort Business and Tourism."
