The charming pictorial map by Burnham shows mountaineers on Mt. St. Helens skiers on Mt. Hood fishermen in Washougal and on Merwin Lake sailing on the Columbia River and more. Burnham 1900-1985 was at the time the Chairmen of the Vancouver City Planning Commission and a fervent advocate of tourism improvements pushed for reconstructing the Fort Vancouver Historic Site and worked for Clark County Title in Vancouver WA.
