Nel 1979 approda in ambito internazionale con Europa '79 a Stoccarda. In questi anni stabilisce il suo studio nell'ex-pastificio Cerere quartiere San Lorenzo. Durante tale periodo si moltiplicano le iniziative nazionali ed internazionali: varie esposizioni presso la <strong>Galleria Ferranti</strong> di Roma"; rassegne al Groninger Museum a Groningen; alla Haus am Waldsee a Berlino nel 1981; l'esordio a New York con la <strong>Annina Nosei Gallery</strong> nel 1983 la partecipazione alla collettiva <strong>Atelier </strong>a cura di <strong>Achille Bonito Oliva</strong> nel 1984 L'Italie aujourd'hui/Italia oggi a Nizza e la mostra <strong>Anniottanta</strong> a Bologna nel 1985. Nello stesso anno è invitato a partecipare alla <strong>XIIIe Biennale de Paris</strong>. Tra il 1986 e il 1992 si susseguono cinque personali: <strong>Sperone Westwater</strong> a New York con il catalogo scritto da Giorgio Agamben; L.A. Louver di Venice; Akira Ikeda a Tokyo; Gallerie Di Meo a Parigi e Galleria Triebold a Basilea. Partecipa alla <strong>Biennale di Venezia</strong> sia nel 1986 che nel 1990 con una sala personale presso il Padiglione Italia.<br />Le opere di Giuseppe Gallo fanno parte di prestigiose collezioni pubbliche quali il Moma di New York il Museum Modern Kunst Stiftung Ludwig di Vienna il Contemporain Midi Pirené"es di Toulouse il Groninger Museum il Fukuyama Museum of Art il Museum Biedermann di Donaueschingen il MART di Rovereto la GAM di Torino e il Parkview Green Museum di Pechino <br /></em> Galleria Gian Enzo Sperone, hardcover

Illustrated throughout with photographs in colour and black and white. A fine copy the binding square and firm the contents clean throughout and without previous owners' stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the lightly rubbed and scuffed original slipcase. Issued in a limited edition of 250 copies this example is numbered 40 signed by Ken Palmer in black ink and the owners recorded as Janet and Royden Roche on the limitation page. Inscribed by Eric Gallo in blue ink beneath his portrait "With love and deep remembrences of the / great association with your wonderful parents / Keith and Jean whom we all much loved".
