Ex-museum library with slip inside front cover and one embossed stamp on title page; no pockets. The slip inside the front cover has "Withdrawn" stamped on it and states that the book was deposited by noted zoologist Alexander Agassiz apparently from his library. Cloth spine and marbled paper-covered boards. Wear at corners else VG. Both folding maps with railroads and waterways indicated are present. Stoppé par la censure, elle sera remplacé par Eclipso avec un sommaire quasi-identique. Spectre est la première revue à avoir proposé du super-héros en France précédant de 2 ans Fantask et de 3 ans Strange. Elle a ouvert la voie chez Artima à d'autres revues aux succès devenu mythique comme Eclipso, Etranges Aventures ou Aventures Fiction. A noter que la patrouille Z ( Doom Patrol en Anglais a inspiré les célébres X-Men et non pas l'inverse, car aux USA leurs aventures furent publiées 2 mois avant le premier X-men ), on y découvre aussi des membres de la Société de Justice comme Hourman, Docteur Fate, le premier Green Lantern, Flash ( rebaptisé Fulmo ), Eclipso, Hawkman, le Prince Ra-nam qui s'en doute inspira le Docteur Strange chez Marvel, etc.
