Corners rubbed more so to the top two corners o/w tight and clean. Gilt decorated inner dentelles. All edges gilt - showing some wear/rubbing. Internally the front endpapers are marked stained and have a former owner's name in the ffep. The second free endpaper has been glued to the first free endpaper for some reason in the past. The title page and the rest of the text block is clean and tight complete with the Gunpowder Treason section removed mid-century. Includes an Integral ribbon bookmark a bit 'rolled'. Whilst the extracts themselves are given in the original Latin some sections outlining the several scholarships and prizes are presented in English.
