Bound in three quarter brown leather with dark brown cloth covers with the university's seal in gilt. Spine title label and gilt rulings and date to spine. Leather is quite scuffed and bumped on the front and rear covers and spine has wear and fraying along edges. Presentation label on front pastedown. Hinges are reinforced by library cloth tape. The pages are tanned with some light scattered soil spots and some small scattered foxing spots. Someone wrote the page numbers in red ink next to the sermon titles on the contents pages. The hinges are beginning to crack. There is a name stamped on one of the front end papers and a name and date 1865 written on the top of the title page. There is a small light water mark in the top margin of the back end papers. The cover has some light soiling and light corner tip wear.
