Octavo: x 240 pp. with a frontispiece extra title page vignette and 20 full-page plates all steel engravings with tissue guards after William Daniell. In the publisher's deluxe red morocco binding with gilt-stamped borders and floral scrollwork surround on the each board; and five raised bands and gilt-stamped rules floral ornamental compartments and titling on the spine. All edges gilt with gilt-stamped dentelles and pale blue coated endpapers with gold-printed 6-pointed stars. Mild bump to the top corner of the rear board.
