This is the catalogue that accompanied the exhibition of the same name held at the Benaki Museum in the fall of 2001. The 280 photographs contained in this book were taken by 34 young Greek photographers to which were added those of two French photographers regular visitors to Greece Jean-Francois Bonhomme and the well-known artist Bernard Plossu covering the latter years of the century that has just ended. The photographers freely portrayed the feature of the city that interested them most without any effort to document or any scientific precision. Thus we have an image of Athens seen through the completely subjective approach of young photographers and artists who were born or live in this city. // Se trata del catalogo de la exposicion del mismo titulo presentada en el Museo Benaki en otono de 2001. Las 280 fotografias que componen la edicion fueron tomadas por treinta y cuatro jovenes fotografos griegos a los que se anadieron desinteresadamente dos fotografos franceses visitantes habituales de Grecia Jean-Francois Bonhomme y el celebre artista Bernard Plossu y cubren los ultimos anos del siglo que acaba de terminar. Los fotografos reflejaron con total libertad el asunto que les interesaba mas de la apariencia exterior de la ciudad sin aspiracion alguna de documentacion o exactitud cientifica. De este modo tenemos la imagen de una Atenas a traves de la mirada absolutamente subjetiva de jovenes artistas de la fotografia que nacieron y viven en esta ciudad.
