The work attributed to John Selden on the title-page is actually by Alessandro Sardi 1520-88 and first appeared in 1579. There is also included a substantial bibliography on weights and measures. Haebler in his Handbuch states that this is the second book on incunabula and the first in which the word is used in connection with printing.
