452186Chapman & Hall Ltd. Hardcover. Good. THERE ARE NO TARIFFS OR CUSTOMS DUTIES ON BOOKS. This collectable hardback is in good vintage condition. The blue cloth boards are a little rubbed at the corners and at the edges of the spine. The binding is sound and the book stands straight though there is a partial crack in the hinge at the first pastedown. The pages are slightly tanned with age but are well maintained with hardly any spotting or blemishes throughout. The pages are rough cut and there are a few uneven edges and a small open tear at the top of the first free endpaper. The first title page states that this is the copyright edition which was printed from stereotype plates in May 1888 and offers all three volumes in one Chapman & Hall Ltd hardcover
