This is a very good softcover copy with almost no wear. Completely clean inside and out. This is a sale catalog for an auction held at Poulain Le Fur in Paris on November 21, 1997. Text in French. The sale consisted of 120 works by Jean Cocteau and Christian Berard + art deco furnishings, including furniture by Jean Royere and Jacques Adnet. 278 lots in the sale. Many illustrated in black & white, some in color. No prices realized sheets, just price estimates for each lot. 11" high X 8" wide, 55 pages. This book will be securely packed and shipped with tracking.

Consists of a 12p. pamphlet titled "L'angoisse des poetes" with text and illustrations by Jean Cocteau alongside 16 4p. pamphlets each one with a reproduction of a work of art with explanatory text on the facing page all contained in a 6.25 x 9.5 inch folder very good condition in a slightly worn slipcase. Text in French. Selection of artwork featured in the exhibition "Bosch Goya et le fantastique" held in May 1957 in Bordeaux. Apparently created to advertise the company's anti-anxiety drug Decontractyl Phenobarbital the benefits of which are listed on the rear wrap of each individual pamphlet. Only 4 in OCLC as of 6/2020.
