There is some wear to the extremities of the binding including some light creasing and age toning. There are a few small marks to the front board. Internally firmly bound. Wrap covers bound in. With half-title. This beautiful "artist's" book was produced to commemorate a 1924 production at directed by Comte Etienne de Beaumont at the Theatre de la Cigale in Paris. Cocteau played Mercutio in this production. The publication was the second in the "Grande Collection" established by R. Coulouma an Argenteuil printer. Jean Victor-Hugo oversaw the hand-coloring.
