Aus dem Wienerischen Diariu 10. Dezember 1768". "Mittwochs den 7ten gruhten Ihre kaiserlich-königliche Majestät in das Waisenhaus auf dem Rennweg sich zu erheben um allda in dere neuerbauten Kirche der ersten feyerlichen Einsegnung und Gottesdienste beizuwohnen. Die ganze Musik des Waisenchors bey dem Hochamte wurde von dem 12jährigen Söhnlein des in salzburgischen Diensten stehenden Kapellmeisters Leopold Mozart zu dieser Feyerlichkeit ganz neu verfasset mit der grössten Richtigkeit dirigiret und nebst deme auch die Moteten gesungen "Goethe zu Eckermann 1830: "Ich habe Mozart als siebenjährigen Knaben gesehenm wo er auf einer Durchreise ein Konzert gab.
