An association copy, with the ownership signature of musicologist and music critic Harold Schonberg and ("Harold C. Schonberg / Nov. 9, 1943 / Cambridge, England") on a preliminary blank. Also with Schonberg blindstamp, and additionally signed by him on the half-title. 4to. Publisher's cloth. Cloth lightly worn and somewhat soiled. Paper spine label darkened and somewhat abraded. Internally clean. Very scarce.
