189220581Thomas Crowell - New York 1892. Hardcover. Very Good/No Dust Jacket. This old book from 1892 is in Excellent condition and appears to have never been read. This is a very handsomely bound smaller sized book with gold gilt on the top page fore-edge and bright gold decorative designs on the covers and spine. The copyright date is 1892 by Thomas Crowell with no other dates or printings shown. The book includes a 24 page biographical sketch of Poe by N.H. Dole plus a 30 page article titled The Poetical Principal no author stated. Then is the section titled Poems starting with The Raven - there are 131 pages of Poems and also 4 Illustrations on glossy paper. This is a smaller sized book about 4" x 6" - the covers are light blue with a white colored spine all decorated in bright gold designs. The covers are clean and firmly attached the binding is strong and all pages are clean and unmarked. This book almost looks like it just came from the store!
