1823bgbgPresso Erasmo Perchino Prezzo Pauli 6 Pisa 1823. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 148 pages plus blank pages fore and aft. A wonderful curiosity. Erasmo Perchino did not exist! It was a false imprint by Benbow and Perkins in London Soho. Benbow was eventually prosecuted not only for omitting the name of his printers but also for fraudulent publishing. This title was the only title published under the Erasmo Perchino imprint. The melodies sweet amorous and poetic are exact. This copy is quite charming and full of character. It has been rebound. Pocket sized. Embossed impressed leather covers. These are rubbed by handling. There is wear to all corners seams and edges. They are secure and benign. Within there are blank pages before and after the text. The text pages themselves are full of character and curiosity. Imperfectly printed and set. The pages have marks from age and storage and use. They are genial patient clear generous spirited and really rather special. This is a VERY RARE copy of the 1823 edition. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services. Presso Erasmo Perchino, Prezzo Pauli 6, Pisa hardcover
