The second book by Delia Bacon 1811-59 an historical tale set during the early days of the American Revolution told in a series of dialogues that includes among its principle characters John Andre and Benedict Arnold. This treatise was probably derived from a manuscriptby Sir Jeffrey Gilbert one of the manuscripts that formed the basis of Bacon's Abridgment 1736-1766. Whatever its origin this treatise was a respected authority. Blackstone cites it the Commentaries 1765-1769; Barton says it "contains a great deal of curious and diffuse learning" in his Elements of Conveyancing 1802. Bacon's daughter shown with wild hair breakingout of a kerchief and with spiky hair growing on her legs. Mom's way of telling daughter to look to her personal grooming. The sheet with wrinkles creases tears small losses at the top edge. Nevertheless a humorous and artistic caricature which offers insight into Bacon's domestic life. unknown
