Every woman is a Latent Lesbian! Is our Race for the Moon triggered by Lesbianism Can a confirmed Lesbian be cured"

Very scarce original 1963 look at lesbianism throughout the world. Slightest wear at edges but book appears unread. Nite-Time Books unknown

19697769New York: Lyle Stuart 1969. First Paperback Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 5 5/8 X 8 1/2 Inches. 255 PP. One of the greatest literary hoaxes of the 20th Century!

An extremely clean copy of this title written under the pseudonym of Penelope Ashe. The book was actually written by 24 Newsday writers in an effort to prove that any book could become a bestseller at the time if enough sex was thrown in. Original price of $5.95 intact on front flap. Something of a cult classic with a backstory unlike any I've ever heard. The Newsday writers apparently tossed the book together to prove that recognition of true literature no longer mattered to publishers and readers alike. Penelope Ashe the author shown in the photograph on the rear panel is actually Billie Young a saleswoman and sister-in-law of one of the actual authors Mike McGrady. The DJ photograph of the attractive young female intended to lure in the malleable purchasers was actually used without permission by the Hungarian born porn veteran and ended up on a lawsuit. The book has since sold nearly 500000 copies.Hint of discoloration to foot of spine. DJ exhibits light wear to edges and folds with a few short closed tears. A scarce hardcover first printing. 1908508688Deighton Bell and Co 1908. First Edition. Hardcover. GOOD. First Edition Thus Lowe's new critical Greek text with english translation on diglot facing pages. 12mo red cloth gilt spine lettering. xi 1 195pp. B/W frontispiece portrait of the statue of Pan and Daphnis at the Mueso delie Terme in Rome. Tips a bit worn spine a bit toned sound otherwise. Annotated with learned and comments in a fine contemporary hand with extensive notes to the rear blanks. Among other reflections the annotator remarks on p. 160 'The excision of over-erotic passages has led here and there to solecism e.g. the change of 'hon' to 'heyn' in IV11 calls for the omission of 'kai' before 'ouden'.' We suspect the owner's name 'R. A. Clarke' appears to be in another name leaving this first reader unfortunatlely anonymous noting only 'From Class Rev. August 1910 after the final notes. 'Despite its perennial popularity and the admiration of no less an authority than Goethe Daphnis and Chloe was largely ignored by classical scholars being considered trivial and/or pornographic until the 1960s when the ancient novel began to be viewed as a worthwhile object of study.' 19701544New York: Grove Press Inc 1970. First Edition First Printing. Cloth and boards. Fine/Fine. Tomi Ungerer. 8vo black cloth with white lettering on spine and blue paper over boards Mylar-protected photographic dust jacket unclipped illustrated with salacious pornographic line drawings by Tomi Underer 104 pages & 105-286 pages. These two volumes of Victorian porn are illustrated by Tomi Ungerer a master of the Farthest-Out most grotesque kinkiest and unacceptable illustrations though often humorous in their outlandishness. At other times Ungerer made a career illustrating offbeat and somewhat more wholesome children's books. We offer this volume with trepidations but do so out of respect for freedom of expression and because no one seems to be hurt or damaged by sending on its way this outrageously written and very questionably illustrated volume. 1960126106N.p. 1960s. Vintage adult digest magazine featuring nude buxom women posing in heels hose garters notably Laine Carlin on the front Sunni Roberts on the rear brief layouts of Ann Austin Toni Stevens Millie Morgan. Short editorial on the "international" scene each layout w/ corresponding copy writing. Many of these models often employed by British glamour photographer Harrison Marks. Though not credited to this title much of the photography resembles Marks' work. Hundreds of similar digest magazines were produced by fly-by-night operations mainly around New York notably Burmel Publishing Lenny Burtman's enterprise. Many were published as photography and/or art "studies" booklets w/ technical camera data exposure chart & the standard emphasis on sexual liberation; early issues featured several models per issue & many maintain airbrushing techniques rolled over from nudist magazines much of the posing naturally obscures otherwise censored areas. Still scarce institutionally. 64pp 6 x 9 inches color wrapper B/W throughout saddle-stapled. Very Good Plus overall light foxing rubbing toning price notation to front. For mature audiences. N.p. unknown
