His wartime service culminated with Divisional Signals at Arnhem where he was captured, only to escape yet again after spending 13 days and nights in a broom cupboard. After WWII he served as Brigade-Major of 3 Para, was wounded in Cyprus, became British Gliding Champion and then commander of 22 SAS Regiment. VERY SCARCE, ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION.
