An extensive history of the war the political machinations battlefields state of the countries involved strategy letters state of the various armies etc. Vol VI has prefixed Several Justificatory Pieces in reply to criticism. From the collection of George Gilbert Ramsay of Glasgow University with his personal bookplate on the front pastedowns.
