The spine & extremities are darkened & the leather of the spine is dried out & cracking. There are 3 tiny holes in the front joint. xxviii & pages29-227; and xxviii & pages 29-364. The edges of the pastedowns endpapers flyleaf & rear blank are darkened with an owner's ink name & date on the front endpaper. There is staining & foxing to the fore-edge prelims & the last few leaves of the 2nd index with occasional foxing & staining in the text. There are some light stains to the top edge. Good. <p>The first American edition of each work both originally published in London in 1849. <p>This is the "January February and March 1850" volume of "The Law Library" series.
