1969365914Philadelphi: Globe Ticket Company 1969. Unbound. Near Fine. Three tickets to the inauguration of President Richard M. Nixon and Vice President Spiro Agnew on January 20 1969. The tickets measure 7.25" x 2.5" and are printed on both sides. There is some light wear to the tickets and a couple spots but they are unused with the stub still attached overall near fine. Each of the three tickets is different with two printed on stiff white card stock with different color inks used for each; the third ticket is printed on a stiff gold-coated card stock. Each shows a portrait of Nixon and Agnew with various illustrations of America on one side and the event information on the other. One white card stock ticket has a price of $12.00 and a location on the mall while the other white ticket has no price and is for an "Honored Guest" with seating near the White House. The final gold foil ticket was likely reserved for V.I.P.s with seating on the "Presidential Reviewing Stand"; additional research may well determine whose actual seat this was but our Nixon Presidential Library card has expired and we have not had time to renew it just yet. Nevertheless an interesting selection of tickets from President Nixon's first term as president. Globe Ticket Company unknown
