This special script for 20th Century Women is one of a small number made and given to members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for Golden Globes Awards consideration. There are only about 90 members of the association. Fine condition. The film stars Annette Bening Elle Fanning Greta Gerwig Billy Crudup and Lucas Jade Zumann. It was nominated for two Golden Globes - Best Motion Picture Musical or Comedy and Best Actress Musical or Comedy Bening and it was nominated for Best Original Screenplay. No photographer place or date is noted and this is the photo used at the wiki site and listed in the U.S. Navy archives as from 1939 when the ship was undergoing sea trials. The Anderson saw extensive service in World War II for which she was awarded ten battle stars. Laid down to cardstock overall size 19 1/2" x 23" approx. A few small spots dirt shallow divots in the image a few dots of paste from old matte-mounting and some old silvering of the gelatin print at bottom margin visible in raking light. Containing approximately 90 black and white photographic images of varying sizes; from 1 1/4" square to 3 ½" x 5 ½" postcard size; most of them average about 2 ½" x 3 ½." Mostly these are candid photographs of the life of young boys and men in Austria and Germany with internal dating on some of the photographs of 1929 to 1935 and additional place and dating information on some. There are photos of children mostly young boys at class and later as young men on class trips hiking cycling; with adult chaperones; for the older boys the educational duties appear to be supervised by Christian religious male instructors only. Also containing a few group photographs of men students priests; and some church interior views. Some of the images have the photography studio rubber stamps on the reverse of the state pharmacy in Rottweil. Five of the images are commercial images of architectural landmarks in Vienna. The photographs are corner-mounted not glued into two hardcover albums with black paper pages side-string tied. One album measures 6" x 8 ¼" and the other 7 ½" x 10 ½" approx. size; both albums with art-deco themed cloth covers. A down-and-out gangster hires an alcoholic press agent to make his blonde bombshell girlfriend into a recording star despite the fact that she has no talent. Grand comedy vehicle for Jayne. ".An attentive listener inquisitive well informed shrewd in professional mattersdid not conform to any of the stereotypes of the "poet" of his day.In 1843 Bryant purchased property on Long Island New York at Roslyn where he was not only free to write but also able to pursue his botanical interests planting and nurturing specimens of trees and shrubs from around the world.
