A well illustrated catalogue of the companies designs and products offering styles like French Sheraton Chippendale Italian Renaissance Georgian Elizabethan and Pompeian Founded in 1887 by Charles Albert Hindley and Edward H. Hindley originally part of their father’s furniture business in Oxford Street. Charles Albert apprenticed at Wallers and studied art and building construction before joining the family firm. In 1891–92 the brothers branched out leasing premises at 68–71 Welbeck Street. They merged with Wilkinson & Sons—a famed Old Bond Street cabinetmaking firm—to form Hindley & Wilkinson Ltd.
