Original blue paper wrappers printed in navy and gold. Dampstaining to the spine and along the edges resulting in some color bleed from the wrappers to the first and last leaves. The wrappers are toned along the extremities. Not located in OCLC although digital versions of some earlier catalogues are available.<br /> <br /> Priced trade catalogue showcasing over 120 different styles of Knapp shoes primarily men's with some women's girls and boys options as well. Many of the men's shoes are given names based on occupations or locations often drawn from the types of materials used - including bizzarely "The Dictator" made of Australian kangaroo leather - while the women's and girls shoes are all given women's names. An illustration of the hand-sewing department is included along with a note acknowledging the times: "It is our policy to maintain our high standards of Quality under any and all conditions. Stamps for a Los Angeles branch office to several pages of both volumes; light dampstain to the fore-edge of some leaves in the first volume.<br /> <br /> Two catalogues one an overview of Lamson's conveyors the other specifically for the company's roller gravity conveyors with the latter including a technical overview and specs. The first catalogue includes a laid-in typed letter signed TLS on company stationery from a representative at the head office to California Walnut Growers in Los Angeles explaining the purpose of sending the catalogues and adding "We also manufacture belt conveyors that have rollers underneath the belts also conveyors where the belt slides in a regular pan trough so that loose products similar to walnuts etc. will not fall out. A trade catalogue of Russian liquors issued by the Russian Ministry of Food. The spirits are of all types with a wide range of vodkas but also a rich variety of cordials brandies and dessert liqueurs. The handsome color plates all stand out for their single color backgrounds and the printing process would appear to have been a hybrid combining photolithography and lithography and then colored. Whatever one makes of the Soviet cultural landscape in general it did attain high standards in some fields and in a modest way this trade catalogue is a proud reflection of its aesthetic achievement. Clean and bright within. Textured wrappers with debossed copper lettering and gilt ruling; lightly soiled and with wear and some separation at spine. Good. OCLC locates no copies. The introduction by Louis Barthou indicates that it was inspired by the 1925 Exposition internationale des arts décoratifs et industriels modernes. The later part of the catalogue lists individual elements with dimensions and prices. Standard Sanitary worked with Chasmar-Winchell Press to design this and their other elegant catalogues. This retrospective publication includes illustrations of furnishings by early luminaries of Scandinavian design including Ole Wanscher Kaj Gottlob Mogens Lassen Frits Schegel Thoresen Lassen and Flemming Lassen. <p>This is a presentation copy inscribed and signed by Andreas Jeppe A.J. Iversen 1888-1979 the influential designer and cabinetmaker who paved the way for Danish modern style. The inscription reads: 'Hr. The catalogue illustrates various heaters and includes dimensions weight and price a few original prices pasted over with labels carrying a printed new price. Special attention is given to the "Record" a Patentierter Dauerbrandofen mit Luftzirkulation und eingriffigem Zentral-Regulator patented slow-burning stove with air circulation and single-handed central regulator. An index is mounted inside the front cover; information sheets about availability and suitability of shades are mounted on the verso of two of the panels. Folder slightly marked and rubbed with a few bumps to the edges at the rear; the silk samples are in uniformly fine condition. One of the printed information sheets states that 'All shades on this color card are stocked at Adelaide depot' establishing a clear Australian connection with what was in its time and a very long time that was the largest silk factory in the world.
