RARE book by the Russian Jewish physician and anthropologist Samuel Weissenberg (1867-1928), one of the pioneers of Jewish race science and eminent photographer of Jewish folkways. His chief work has consisted of anthropological researches of the physical measurement of Jews in southern Russia, the results of which he published in 1895 and was awarded a gold medal by the Moscow Society for Natural Science.
