(20 x 14 cm). In Ottoman script. 158, [2] p., musical scores. In contrary of the tradition of Ottoman book printing, this is numbered from right to left. Ismail Hakki Bey was a Turkish composer, musician and educator during the Ottoman Empire. The Society of Ottoman Music was founded by Ismail Hakk' Bey in March 1909 at the flat above the Fevziye Coffehouse. Ismail Hakki Bey, while he was the president and director of the Ottoman Society of Music, applied to the Ministry of Education to have a permit to open a private music school. After the permission was granted, The School of Ottoman Music, (1910-1920), the first private music school in the Ottoman State, was inaugurated on January 5th 1910. Michael Adler. Adler (1868-1944) was Rabbi at Central Synagogue who later served as Chaplain to the Armed Forces during World War I. A scarce sermon from early in his career. Benoist, que había sido confesor de María Estuardo, alcanzó una notable fama como párroco de la iglesia de Saint-Eustache, hasta el punto de ser apodado "el Papa de Les Halles". Regente de Teología en la Sorbona, publicó en 1564 una biblia bilingue en latín y francés y en1588 editó una versión únicamente en francés de la biblia que fue acusada de calvinismo. Expulsado de la Sorbona, fue elegido por Enrique IV como su confesor. Se le deben también dos rarísimos tratados sobre brujería.

Tomás de Vio, "el segundo Tomás", "ingeniorum extrema linea, doctorum virorum miraculum", fue una de las grandes personalidades de la curia papal de su tiempo, los comienzos de la Reforma, examinador de Lutero en Augsburgo y redactor de su Bula de Excomunión. Docente en sus primeros tiempos en Padua y Ferrara, puso de manifiesto su asombrosa erudición teológica, de la que son testimonio estas "Summula" escritas como "notas al pie" de la obra epónima de Santo Tomás: en ellas se reflejan unos tiempos de cambio en los que trata de dejar claro el papel de la Iglesia Romana como guía acerca del pecado y el peso y significado de palabras como excomunión, cisma, y discordia. Estas 1525 referencias son tambien conocidas como "Summula Peccatorum" e incluso como "Cajetana". Siete años antes de su muerte vivió el "Saco de Roma" por los Ejércitos Imperiales y hubo de pagar 5.000 escudos de oro para recobrar su libertad.
