Hardback in grey illustrated paper-covered boards with dark green linen backstrip. 88 pages. Beautifully illustrated throughout with colour and black and white plates line drawings in text. Boards are a little soiled and the extremities are slightly worn. Inner hinge is cracked and there is a small red crayon scribble to front endpaper o/w the contents are extremely clean and fresh. Illustrated with fifteen 15 tipped in colour plates with tissue guards intact but most creased and thirty 30 tipped in black & white plates. Most of the poems are also accompanied by small black & white vignettes. All plates present and in impeccable condition. Foreword by Archibald T. Strong. List of subscribers at rear. Also has remnants of original ribbon marker - now deteriorated with age. Limited to 1500 copies Muir 5592. Robust professional packaging and tracking provided for all parcels. 74 pages. First published in 1916. It appears that this limited edition was published to coincide with an exhibition of Outhwaite's work in Melbourne sold out within hours.
