Il progetto di questo libro ha preso le mosse dal desiderio di individuare un modo 'italiano' di parlare e scrivere di geografia, che tenga conto della complessità e della ricchezza del dibattito internazionale senza mai perdere il senso del proprio contesto, proprio perché rivolto a chi, nelle nostre sedi universitarie, approccia per la prima volta quel sapere critico che da sempre chiamiamo geografia.
