His best-known and still widely popular work is his '<i>Epistles'</i> which was a series of personal letters to other Roman figures. They give an important view of Roman everyday life as well as an interesting perspective on Pliny's views against Christianity.</p><p>In addition to his letters Pliny is remembered by his only known oration – '<i>Panegyricus'</i>.
