A good copy but with wear to the cover edges and bending to the corner tips and spine ends. Some soiling and stained spots to the cloth covers and the gilt lettering is brighter in some spots than others. Small tear to the cloth at the upper front joint and mild fraying at the corner tips. Interior is much better. Previous owner's name and date neatly to the front free-endpaper binding and hinges are solid though lacking tightness. Pages are age-toned but clean and unmarked. 613 pp. black and white plates throughout.
