198084428Norborne Missouri: Salon Publishing Company 1980. Octavo. 21cm. Original illustrated card wraps. 447pp. Some light wear to extremities toning and soiling to the cheap card; internally clean inscribed by the author to the copyright page which is the recto following the title page rather than being the verso as is more normally seen; "To Art and Mrs. Schmid in Glorious Christian Bounds Bernard Kruse." A very good copy with some cosmetic wear.

Essentially an overview of politics in the Western World viewed as a descent into tyranny and decadence and desperately requiring the swift action of the Christian American Right to rectify the situation. Not terribly helpful geopolitically seeing as anyone not actually American and Christian is viewed as either openly evil or credulous and open to manipulation the continents of Africa and non-Communist Asia apparently fall into the latter category but very interesting from the perspective of anyone seeking to understand the mindset of Rev. Kruse and his enthusiasts which is essentially rooted in colonialism just for gods rather than empires. This viewpoint depends rather upon the fascinating idea that religious totalitarianism is an improvement on socio-political totalitarianism. Salon Publishing Company unknown
