Howes W 615. Brown blind-decorated cloth gilt lettering. Cloth quite faded with frayed extremities underboards exposed at corners soiling and dampstaining to rear cover a bit cocked. Modest dampstaining to upper fore-edge corner of all interior leaves present but not pronounced. All leaves firm modestly toned with little foxing evident. Former owner signature in pencil on front flyleaf. Portion of map present at rear mostly lacking showing portions of western Missouri southern Iowa and "Indian Territory" later Oklahoma to the west. Rear pastedown also contains original bookseller's tag from Chicago Book Store S. F. Gale & Co. Chicago.
