Book consists of 169 pages of text followed by 511 numbered plates some containing more than one image. All edges gilt. A title in the 'Spanish Series' published at the Bodley Head. A very uncommon title especially in bound in leather as most copies are found in decorative red cloth. Binding shows rubbing to outer joints and some wear to tips. Front joint beginning to split along bottom edge. Decorative spine shows light wear. Hinges still strong and boards are firmly attached. Covers but for faults noted are clean and attractive.
