Very good with bumped extremities and some staining to back cover along the spine. Contains 3 handwritten letters from Tomlinson to his friend and fellow writer Frederick Niven. 2 of these from Jan. and Feb. 1921 he talks about his life and plans and Niven's influence. The third dated July 1923 is written from the Malay Straits and relates his current project which resulted in " Tidemarks ". This letter is in the original envelope which is tipped to the front endpaper with the postmark and stamp. The other two are in a single envelope postmarked in London in Feb. of 1921.
